Colorful Dog Bed Made From An Old Ottoman

I didn't have to do a lot of prep on the ottoman itself because it's in good shape. It just needed some cleaning.
I decided to use two beach towels I picked up on sale. I cut the ends off of one and hot glued them to each side of the other towel.
I then fitted it to the ottoman. A dog bed has to be washed every so often, so I decided not to permanently attach it. That way it can be easily removed and thrown in the wash.

I used a piece of foam board and a matching towel for the head board.

I made a body pillow and blanket out of the remaining piece of towel. Waa Laa! Oreo has a new bed and as you can see she loves it.

  3. Hi Denise-

Looks like you are new to the blogging world - your first post! Congratulations! You will love it and make lots of new friends.
I think Oreo is one happy dog. His b/w coloring looks nice against the colorful fabric. Does he get served breakfast in bed now?
    My best - Diane
